The posting

Voor onze klant in Tongeren zijn wij op zoek naar een Transportplanner. In deze functie organiseer je nationale en internationale import- en exportritten vanuit Tongeren, met aandacht voor een efficiënte planning, correcte uitvoering en rendabele inzet van het wagenpark.

Jouw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je vertaalt transportopdrachten naar een haalbare rittenplanning en zoekt daarbij naar geschikte routes, combinaties en oplossingen met een zo hoog mogelijke beladingsgraad.
  • De dagelijkse afstemming met chauffeurs, klanten, laad- en losplaatsen zorgt ervoor dat elke rit vlot kan vertrekken en opgevolgd wordt.
  • Rij- en rusttijden, wettelijke voorschriften en praktische haalbaarheid bewaak je nauwgezet, zodat de planning veilig en conform de regelgeving blijft.
  • Wanneer een opdracht wijzigt of een onverwachte situatie ontstaat, behoud je het overzicht en stuur je snel bij met een duidelijke oplossing.
  • Je onderhoudt commerciële contacten rond het aan- en verkopen van ritten en draagt als transportcoördinator bij aan een sterke bezettingsgraad en betrouwbare dienstverlening.
  • In een gestructureerde, mensgerichte transportomgeving werk je nauw samen met collega's, chauffeurs en klanten. Zo krijg je verantwoordelijkheid over het volledige planningsproces en zie je rechtstreeks het resultaat van je beslissingen.

Voor de rol van Transportplanner bij onze klant in Tongeren zijn we op zoek naar een kandidaat met 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring in transportplanning of een vergelijkbare logistieke functie. Een bacheloropleiding in transport, logistiek of een gelijkwaardige praktijkervaring vormt een goede basis.

Jouw profiel:

  • Rij- en rusttijden, transportdocumenten en de geografische logica van de Benelux en Duitsland zijn voor jou vertrouwde materie.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en kunt je professioneel behelpen in het Duits. Basiskennis van het Frans en Engels is waardevol in het internationale contact.
  • Ervaring met TAS, Transics, Transporeon of vergelijkbare transportsystemen is een pluspunt. Je werkt daarnaast vlot met MS Office en leert nieuwe digitale tools snel kennen.
  • Je organiseert nauwkeurig, blijft rustig wanneer de planning onder druk komt te staan en communiceert duidelijk. Die combinatie helpt je om als transportcoördinator vertrouwen op te bouwen bij chauffeurs, klanten en collega's.
