The posting

The Business Analyst will work on prioritised projects, agreed with the Head of Value Enablement, to secure successful project outcomes through the gathering and analysis of requirements, assessment of business impacts, identification of desired outcomes and implementation of effective solutions.

The role acts as a critical link between business stakeholders, Product Management, Architecture, Engineering teams and offshore delivery teams. The Business Analyst will translate business problems into clearly defined requirements, ensuring teams fully understand the problem being solved, the expected business outcomes and how success will be measured.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, creating and maintaining key delivery artefacts including process models, user journeys, personas, business requirements and solution-shaping documentation.

The Business Analyst will possess a strong problem-solving mindset, focusing on sustainable, long-term solutions rather than short-term workarounds, while helping to maximise the value delivered through our technology investments.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as a key point of contact for business projects where UK&I Technology support is required.

· Gather, analyse and document business requirements, ensuring alignment to business objectives and strategic goals.

· Work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects and Engineering teams to define solution options and recommend improvements.

· Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user-focused deliverables. · Create and maintain project artefacts including:

• Business Requirements Documents

• Process Models

• User Journeys

• User Personas

• Feature Definitions

• Acceptance Criteria

· Act as the bridge between UK&I stakeholders and offshore engineering teams to ensure complete understanding of business requirements and expected outcomes.

· Support engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle by providing clarification, context and ongoing business input. · Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams, third-party suppliers and offshore partners.

· Contribute to product roadmap discussions and help translate roadmap objectives into deliverable functionality and measurable value.

· Support testing activities throughout the project lifecycle, including hands-on testing where required.

· Participate in Agile ceremonies and support Agile delivery practices across aligned teams.

· Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, dependencies and issues.

· Perform any other duties as assigned, with accountability and responsibility agreed in advance.

· Provide flexibility to support project deadlines and business-critical activities as required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
