About the Role

You'll work with overseas factories, logistics providers and site teams to align equipment quality and deliveries with project specifications and the construction programme. You'll support site installation, testing and handover to Operations and customers.

Responsibilities

Deliver Equipment in Line With the Site Programme

  • Coordinate overseas prefabrication factories and freight forwarders to align equipment deliveries with the site construction programme.
  • Plan route surveys, feasibility studies, customs clearance and import/export documentation to support equipment transport.
  • Track shipments in real time and coordinate delivery schedules to achieve just-in-time delivery.

Verify Factory Quality Before Shipment

  • Validate shop drawings, fabrication models and bills of materials (BOMs) against project specifications.
  • Monitor factory production schedules and conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) to verify equipment quality before shipment.
  • Verify packaging and labelling against international transport and site handling requirements.

Integrate Prefabricated Equipment Safely on Site

  • Coordinate offloading, storage, staging, crane and lifting plans with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) subcontractors and site teams for safe handling.
  • Supervise installation and integration of prefabricated MEP modules to meet design intent and system functionality.
  • Implement on-site technical adjustments to bring prefabricated components into alignment with project requirements.

Align Teams Around Construction Milestones

  • Facilitate daily coordination across design, procurement, logistics and construction teams to align prefabrication deliverables.
  • Participate in site coordination meetings to align equipment delivery and installation with construction milestones.
  • Coordinate handover of prefabricated systems from logistics to installation teams to support site integration.

Validate Systems and Complete Handover Records

  • Support site acceptance tests (SAT) and commissioning activities to validate prefabricated MEP systems.
  • Maintain factory test reports, shipping documents and delivery receipts to document equipment testing and delivery.
  • Record as-built markings and commissioning data to support handover to Operations and customers.

Job Requirements

Technical Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP or construction projects.
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with familiarity with logistics planning, international shipping and customs processes.
  • Proficiency in Thai, English and Mandarin for coordination with multilingual partners.
  • Explain technical requirements clearly to overseas factories, logistics providers, subcontractors and site teams.
  • Align design, procurement, logistics and construction teams around delivery schedules and site milestones.
  • Assess prefabricated-component integration and coordinate technical adjustments that achieve design intent and system functionality.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with prefabrication or modular systems, particularly coordinating prefabricated equipment sourced from overseas.
  • An electrical background.
  • Knowledge of commissioning practices, including FAT and SAT.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.

Why join DayOne?

You'll combine prefabricated equipment delivery with factory quality oversight, coordination with overseas manufacturers and site teams, and support through installation, commissioning and handover. You'll coordinate equipment specifications, transport requirements and installation planning across these teams.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
