De Windwijzer is een oecumenische daltonschool in de wijk Noorderplassen-West in Almere. Vanuit onze daltonkernwaarden samenwerking, verantwoordelijkheid, zelfstandigheid, effectiviteit en reflectie begeleiden wij kinderen in hun ontwikkeling tot zelfstandige, betrokken en nieuwsgierige wereldburgers.

Wij geloven dat kinderen het beste leren in een veilige omgeving waarin zij actief eigenaar zijn van hun leerproces.

Ons onderwijs is betekenisvol en thematisch ingericht. We stimuleren leerlingen om nieuwsgierig te zijn, kritisch te denken, samen te werken en hun talenten te ontdekken. Daarbij werken wij nauw samen met ouders en blijven wij onszelf als professionals continu ontwikkelen.

Een belangrijk speerpunt binnen onze school is bewegend leren. Wij geloven dat leren niet alleen achter een tafel plaatsvindt, maar juist ook door actief bezig te zijn. Hierdoor vergroten we betrokkenheid, motivatie en leerplezier bij onze leerlingen.

Voor de midden- of bovenbouw zoeken wij een enthousiaste en betrokken leerkracht die samen met ons verder wil bouwen aan sterk daltononderwijs. Een collega die leerlingen uitdaagt om verantwoordelijkheid te nemen, eigenaarschap te ontwikkelen en met vertrouwen hun eigen weg te vinden.
