About the Role

You are more than a cold caller or "meeting fixer." As part of the GTM team at Deccan, you'll own relationships in an exciting, fast-growing market — turning cold leads into warm, qualified opportunities with some of the top AI leaders in the industry.

What You'll Do

  • Open doors. Prospect, qualify, follow up, and convert cold leads into warm opportunities, using a mix of cold calls, LinkedIn, and email campaigns with an automation-driven approach.
  • Build relationships. Own business relationships end to end with key decision makers and uncover opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Inspire action. Understand and uncover customer needs and business problems, and showcase executive-level prospects the Deccan AI advantage — high quality data for their models.
  • Communicate like a pro. You'll engage with some of the top AI leaders in the industry. Staying current with AI trends and technical content will help you speak their language and earn their trust.
  • Own the process. Spot inefficiencies in our sales workflows and fix them. Leverage tools and data to prospect at scale and drive efficiency.
  • Become a thought leader. Deepen your expertise in data for GenAI and position yourself as a trusted partner to our prospects.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3+ years of proven experience in sales or sales development, with a consistent record of over-achieving your goals.
  • You want to fast-track your sales career, not just do a sales job.
  • Good B2B SaaS selling experience, with the ability to go from zero to 100 on ramping up on new product technology.
  • Flexible, adaptive, and resilient — and above all, customer-obsessed.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for technical and business audiences.
