Overview

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Cage Manager to join our team at Daytona Poker Room in Daytona Beach, Florida. In this role, you will oversee cage and vault operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as Delaware North policies and procedures.

This position requires weekend availability. The typical schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with Mondays and Tuesdays off, although there may be some flexibility with weekday scheduling.

Unit Description

Daytona Beach Racing & Card Club in Daytona Beach, Florida, is owned and operated by Delaware North. It features a 50-table poker room, simulcast wagering with more than 250 televisions for simulcasts and other sports and entertainment, as well as a full-service restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Manage main bank, cashiers cage, drop, and count operations; ensure all federal, state, local, and Delaware North gaming regulations and procedures are followed
  • Hand out cashiers' banks and distribute cash drawers; handle flow and tracking of all cash through the cages
  • Maintain an accurate cash bank and balance money bank at end of each shift; investigate all variances and report when applicable
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, evaluating, and developing team members

Qualifications

  • At least three years of supervisory experience in a gaming role
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Florida state gaming license
  • Ability to handle large money transactions accurately and reconcile vault impressments
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Able to work a flexible work schedule. Must be available to work weekends. Typical schedule is Wednesday - Sunday (off Mon & Tues)
  • Work hours are 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
