Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Concessions Catering Manager to join our collaborative team at Stadium of Light in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. As a Concessions Catering Manager, you will be managing diverse teams from a range of kiosks to create exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities

  • Manage, lead, and train dedicated and proud frontline teams, monitoring timeliness and quantities in food preparation, promoting quality goods and exceptional service excellence
  • Deliver informative and engaging briefs to all team members within your service area before each event
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for assigned area
  • Provide prompt and appropriate handling of guest feedback
  • Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence

Qualifications

  • No degree required
  • Experience managing and leading large teams within hospitality or events
  • Knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry, preferably within hospitality and catering environment
  • Skills in guest service, communication, attention to detail, analysis, quick thinking, and leadership

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for duration of shift
  • Comfortable handling various meat and alcohol products
  • Availability to attend shifts for matchdays and event days, due to events-based nature of roles

Hourly Minimum Rate

GBP £16.18/Hourly Work Location

Home to Sunderland Association Football Club, this 49,000 red and white seater stadium hosts Premier League football, international sports, concerts, meetings, and events. At the Stadium of Light, we provide premium dining experiences at Banks on the Wear and 76 Yards alongside Michelin star Chef, and Sunderland fan, Tommy Banks.
