Delaware North New Zealand are seeking a Night Auditor to join our team at Pinewood Lodge in Queenstown, New Zealand. As a Night Auditor, you will ensure efficient and accurate reporting of lodge accounts, oversee evening front office operations, and exceed guest expectations by delivering outstanding service. What you will do?

  • Manage all overnight guest reservations, including walk-ins and enquiries via phone or email
  • Process payments and charges accurately, including card and cash handling
  • Respond to guest enquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and empathy
  • Execute end-of-day procedures in line with company policies and security protocols
  • Count, balance, and reconcile tills and floats, ensuring accuracy in all cash and card transactions
  • Maintain financial documentation including stock levels, wastage reports, and transaction logs
  • Support the Front Office Manager with financial reporting and data entry as required
  • Conduct scheduled security patrols throughout the property, ensuring guest safety and adherence to noise curfews
  • Respond to overnight housekeeping and maintenance requests, coordinating with relevant departments
  • Assist with overnight housekeeping and maintenance requests, van restock, and morning F&B setup as required

More about you

  • Knowledge of property management systems (e.g., Opera, RMS) and financial reconciliation (highly preferred but not mandatory)
  • Exposure to security procedures and emergency response protocols
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
