We’re looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our manufacturing team in Worksop.

You’ll use your welding and fabrication skills to produce work to engineering specifications, interpreting technical drawings and welding symbols and making sure every job meets the right quality standards and build requirements.

And with your standard working week running Monday to Thursday, you’ll get a three-day weekend as standard.

🔥 What you’ll be doing

  • Working accurately from technical drawings and welding symbols
  • Producing fabricated components to the required build specification
  • Checking your own welding and fabrication work to maintain quality
  • Working to production and operation times
  • Identifying issues and helping find practical solutions
  • Supporting improvements to manufacturing processes and ways of working
  • Working safely and using the appropriate PPE
  • Developing your skills and learning across different areas when required

🛠️ What we’re looking for

We’d like to hear from people with:

  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • A good understanding of fabrication and welding
  • A recognised vocational qualification in welding or fabrication
  • The ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols
  • Practical problem-solving skills
  • Experience working to production or takt times
  • An interest in learning and developing new skills

Around two years' experience in a similar Fabricator Welder, Welder Fabricator or manufacturing welding role would be useful, but isn't essential. Experience with engineering build specifications, production projects or continuous improvement would also be beneficial rather than essential.

You don't need to tick every desirable box. If you have the core welding and fabrication experience we're looking for and feel your skills could transfer, we'd encourage you to apply.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
