The posting

Role: Welder Fabricator

Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 06:30 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday

Hourly rate: Up to £19.10 ph DOE

Great welding is about more than laying down a good weld. It’s about taking an engineering drawing, turning it into something real and knowing the finished job is right.

We’re looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join Dennis Eagle at our Warwick manufacturing site.

Working within our Production team, you’ll use your MIG and MAG welding and steel fabrication experience to build medium to heavy steel fabrications. You’ll work from engineering drawings, build and tack fabrications, complete welds and check your finished work against the required specification.

And with our standard working week running Monday to Thursday, your weekend starts a little earlier.

🔥 What you’ll be doing

  • MIG and MAG welding on 2mm to 10mm steel
  • Building, tacking and welding medium to heavy steel fabrications
  • Working accurately from engineering and fabrication drawings
  • Checking completed welding and fabrication work against specification
  • Identifying and correcting fabrication faults
  • Working with colleagues to meet production and quality requirements
  • Taking ownership of the quality of your work
  • Following safe working practices and using the correct PPE
  • Developing your welding and fabrication skills across our manufacturing environment

🛠️ What we’re looking for

We’d like to hear from people with:

  • Experience in MIG and MAG welding
  • Experience with medium to heavy steel fabrication
  • A relevant welding or fabrication qualification
  • Practical welding training
  • Experience building and tacking fabrications before completing the weld
  • The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • An eye for identifying and correcting fabrication faults
  • An interest in learning and developing new skills

Experience with coded multi-position welding, welding approval certificates, engineering build specifications or pendant cranes would be useful, but these are desirable rather than essential.

The role can involve working in confined or awkward positions, climbing over vehicles and occasional heavier lifting

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
