…ein agiles IT-Softwarehaus mit rund 80 Kolleginnen und Kollegen. Wir entwickeln Softwarelösungen für Industrie und Smart Factory – von IoT-Plattformen bis zu Agentic AI – und bringen Menschen, Prozesse und Maschinen so zusammen, dass echte Zusammenarbeit entsteht. Dabei sind KI, Data Analytics und Predictive Maintenance für uns kein Trendthema von außen, sondern Handwerkszeug: Wir nutzen sie, um aus komplexen Industriedaten konkreten Nutzen zu machen.

Für unser Team suchen wir ab sofort eine*n Senior Data Engineer (m/w/d) für den Aufbau, die Weiterentwicklung und den zuverlässigen Betrieb unserer Datenplattform auf Databricks. Du verwandelst große Mengen an Daten aus Smart-Factory-, IoT- und Agentic-AI-Anwendungen in saubere, governance-konforme und nutzbare Datenprodukte, und du nutzt dafür moderne, KI-gestützte Entwicklungsmethoden.

Dein Part in unserem Team:

  • Du entwickelst, betreibst und optimierst robuste Data Pipelines in Databricks (Python, SQL) nach der Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
  • Du richtest Governance, Zugriffsrechte und Data Lineage mit dem Unity Catalog ein und pflegst sie.
  • Du stellst Daten für Fachbereiche und Kund:innen bereit, z. B. über Dashboards und Reports in Power BI sowie über Genie für Self-Service-Analysen in natürlicher Sprache.
  • Du automatisierst Deployments und Infrastruktur mit Terraform und Declarative Automation Bundles (früher Databricks Asset Bundles) und baust CI/CD-Pipelines mit auf.
  • Du arbeitest agentisch: Du setzt KI-Coding-Assistenten wie Claude Code oder GitHub Copilot gezielt ein, um Pipelines, Tests und Dokumentation schneller und besser zu liefern.
  • Du übersetzt Kundenanforderungen in technische Anforderungen und Datenmodelle und stimmst dich dafür eng mit Software-Entwicklung, Produktmanagement und Projektteams ab. Außerdem sorgst du für Datenqualität, Monitoring und Nachvollziehbarkeit.

Das bringst du mit:

  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Data Engineering auf Senior-Level, idealerweise mit Databricks als zentraler Plattform; du setzt Projekte eigenständig um und betreibst und wartest sie langfristig
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Python und SQL
  • Praxis mit der Medallion Architecture sowie im Aufbau und Management von Data Pipelines
  • Erfahrung mit dem Unity Catalog (Governance, Berechtigungen, Lineage)
  • DevOps-Kenntnisse: Infrastructure as Code mit Terraform, Deployments mit Declarative Automation Bundles (früher Databricks Asset Bundles), sicherer Umgang mit Git
  • Erfahrung im Reporting, z. B. mit Power BI, und idealerweise erste Berührungspunkte mit Databricks Genie
  • Praktische Erfahrung im Agentic Engineering, z. B. mit Claude Code oder GitHub Copilot, und die Bereitschaft, deine Arbeitsweise damit weiterzuentwickeln
  • Erfahrung in der engen Zusammenarbeit mit Software-Entwicklungsteams in agilen Umgebungen
  • Die Fähigkeit, Kundenanforderungen verständlich aufzunehmen und in belastbare technische Anforderungen, Datenmodelle und Pipelines zu übersetzen
  • Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
