Descripción del empleo

Como Senior Data Engineer especializado en BigQuery, tu foco principal será el diseño, construcción y optimización end-to-end de pipelines y arquitecturas de datos en la nube de Google.

Trabajarás en proyectos retadores donde la eficiencia, el rendimiento de las consultas y la gestión de costes son factores clave para el éxito del cliente.

Tus responsabilidades principales:

  • Arquitectura y Optimización en BigQuery: Diseñar e implementar modelos de datos eficientes, aplicando técnicas avanzadas de particionado (partitioning), agrupamiento (clustering) y mejores prácticas para optimizar costes y tiempos de ejecución de queries.
  • Construcción de Pipelines ELT/ETL: Diseñar, desarrollar y automatizar flujos de integración y transformación de datos a gran escala.
  • Desarrollo y Calidad de Código: Escribir consultas y procesos SQL avanzados, mantenibles y robustos, aplicando control de versiones con Git y buenas prácticas de CI/CD.
  • Modelado de Datos: Definir capas semánticas y esquemas de datos (analíticos, analítica avanzada, data marts) alineados con las necesidades de negocio del cliente.
  • Consultoría Técnica y Mentoring: Colaborar en la toma de decisiones técnicas, resolución de incidencias complejas de rendimiento e impulsar buenas prácticas en el equipo de ingeniería.

Requisitos

  • Experiencia: +4-5 años de experiencia sólida en funciones de Data Engineering / Analytics Engineering.
  • Dominio Avanzado de SQL: Experiencia demostrable en la escritura y optimización de lógica compleja en SQL.
  • Especialización en Google BigQuery: Profundo conocimiento práctico en la arquitectura interna de BigQuery, gestión de slot allocations, optimización de queries, estratégias de partitioning/clustering y gobierno de costes.
  • Flujos ELT y Modelado de Datos: Experiencia en el diseño de pipelines de datos y modelado dimensional (esquema en estrella, copo de nieve, Data Vault, etc.).
  • Buenas Prácticas de Software: Dominio de control de versiones con Git y flujos de trabajo colaborativos (GitHub/GitLab, Pull Requests, Code Reviews).

Valoramos Positivamente (Plus):

  • Certificación oficial Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer.
  • Experiencia con herramientas de transformación y orquestación del ecosistema GCP (ej. dbt, Cloud Composer / Airflow, Dataflow).
  • Conocimientos de Python aplicados a ingeniería de datos.
