Descripción del empleo

Como Senior BI Developer especializado en Looker, tu foco principal será el diseño y desarrollo de la capa semántica, la gobernanza del dato analítico y el despliegue de soluciones de Business Intelligence orientadas a negocio.

Trabajarás definiendo modelos en LookML escalables, optimizados para conectarse contra BigQuery y garantizando que las áreas de decisión dispongan de métricas fiables, unificadas y de alto rendimiento.

Tus responsabilidades principales:

  • Desarrollo de Capa Semántica en LookML: Diseñar, construir y mantener la capa semántica de la compañía mediante LookML (creación avanzada de Views, Explores, Dimensions, Measures y Derived Tables).
  • Despliegue de Dashboards e Informes: Diseñar y construir cuadros de mando e informes analíticos interactivos y orientados a la toma de decisiones de negocio en Looker.
  • Optimización Looker & BigQuery: Garantizar el máximo rendimiento en la consulta de datos, optimizando las conexiones con BigQuery, uso de PDTs (Persistent Derived Tables), caching y optimización de costes/slots.
  • Gobierno del Dato y Buenas Prácticas: Aplicar estándares de desarrollo, control de versiones mediante Git dentro de Looker (pull requests, entornos de desarrollo/producción) y gobernanza en el acceso a métricas clave.
  • Relación con Negocio y Mentoring: Traducir las necesidades de negocio en requerimientos analíticos, promover el autoservicio de datos (self-service BI) e impulsar buenas prácticas dentro del equipo.

Requisitos

  • Experiencia: +4 años de experiencia sólida en desarrollo de soluciones de Business Intelligence y Analytics Engineering.
  • Nivel Experto en Looker & LookML: Dominio avanzado en la definición de código LookML (Explores, Views, gestión de accesos/datagroups, liquid HTML/SQL, etc.).
  • Integración con BigQuery: Experiencia demostrable en la integración de Looker sobre Google BigQuery y conocimiento de técnicas de optimización de rendimiento de queries.
  • Control de Versiones y Git: Buenas prácticas de desarrollo utilizando Git integrado dentro del flujo de trabajo de Looker.
  • Modelado de Datos: Conocimiento sólido en modelado dimensional (esquemas en estrella/copo de nieve) y definición de capas de abstracción/semánticas para analítica.

Valoramos Positivamente (Plus):

  • Certificación oficial Looker Business Analyst o Looker Developer.
  • Conocimientos de SQL avanzado para la construcción y depuración de Derived Tables.
  • Experiencia previa con otras herramientas del ecosistema Google Cloud (BigQuery, dbt, etc.).
