The posting

Als (Junior) Sales Medewerker Buitendienst bij DFDS Logistics in Nijmegen speel je een belangrijke rol in het uitbreiden en onderhouden van onze klantenportefeuille.

Je maakt deel uit van het Salesteam en werkt nauw samen met collega's van Operations, Customer Service, Finance en andere commerciële teams. Samen zorg je ervoor dat klanten kunnen rekenen op efficiënte en betrouwbare transportoplossingen.

In deze functie bezoek je klanten, bouw je duurzame relaties op en help je mee aan de verdere groei van DFDS Logistics. Je bent regelmatig onderweg en krijgt de ruimte om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen binnen een internationale organisatie.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je bezoekt bestaande en potentiële klanten en bouwt aan langdurige relaties.
  • Je signaleert commerciële kansen en vertaalt deze naar passende logistieke oplossingen.
  • Je stelt offertes op en volgt commerciële trajecten actief op.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met interne teams om verwachtingen van klanten waar te maken.
  • Je vertegenwoordigt DFDS tijdens klantbezoeken, netwerkactiviteiten en zakelijke afspraken.
  • Je houdt ontwikkelingen in de transportmarkt in de gaten en deelt relevante inzichten met collega's.

Wat zoeken wij?

  • Je hebt minimaal 2 jaar relevante werkervaring in een commerciële functie.
  • Je hebt hbo werk- en denkniveau.
  • Je hebt kennis en affiniteit van en met de transportsector; ervaring met geconditioneerd transport is een pré.
  • Je beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal goed, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Je bent bereid om Frans en/of Duits te leren of verder te ontwikkelen.

  • Je neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor je werkzaamheden en komt afspraken na.
  • Je werkt graag samen en draagt bij aan een positieve teamcultuur.
  • Je bent nieuwsgierig, leert snel en staat open voor ontwikkeling.
  • Je bent bereid om regelmatig te reizen voor klantbezoeken.
