Position Summary:

In the AI Solution Architect position, you’ll design and deliver scalable, AI-powered solutions that solve complex customer and business problems. You’ll act as a technical leader, connecting engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to accelerate innovation and value delivery. This role blends hands-on technical work with strategic thinking, customer collaboration, and architectural leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders, translating business goals into technical direction.
  • Excellent ability to lead complex solution design efforts across multi-functional teams.
  • Adept at creating rapid prototypes and MVPs to validate value, iterate quickly, and demonstrate feasibility.

What you’ll do and impact:

  • Design and deliver scalable AI-powered architectures that solve real customer problems and align with business strategy.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, guiding solution decisions with credibility and clarity.
  • Translate ambiguous customer challenges into clear technical requirements and proof-of-concept prototypes.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure AI solutions are maintainable, sustainable, and future-forward.
  • Stay hands-on with emerging technologies and continuously evaluate new tools and techniques to keep solutions cutting-edge.
  • Document and evolve architectural standards and best practices.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to grow internal capabilities in AI.
  • Support business development efforts by articulating AI solution value to customers and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture, with demonstrated success delivering customer-facing solutions.
  • 2+ years in a technical leadership or mentorship role.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), data systems, and system integration.
  • Proven experience evaluating architectural tradeoffs (e.g., performance, scalability, cost, cloud vs. on-prem).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and iterative product development.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Familiarity with state-of-the-art AI frameworks and LLMs, such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or OpenAI APIs.
  • Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Exposure to MLOps, AIOps, or responsible AI frameworks is a plus.
  • Ability to travel by car and/or plane up to 10%.
