  • Maintain an integrated, forward-looking view of the region’s risk profile for executive leadership and governance forums.
  • Advise the APAC Management Team on strategic initiatives, market expansion, portfolio strategies, transformation and major business decisions.
  • Establish a structured approach to horizon scanning across cyber, technology, climate, geopolitical, regulatory, economic, conduct and reputational risks.
  • Translate risk trends, scenarios and vulnerabilities into clear business insight and practical recommendations.
  • Coordinate enterprise risk governance, escalation and regional response management for relevant breach incidents.
  • Embed Group risk frameworks, operational risk policy, risk appetite and reporting approaches in a way that reflects APAC requirements.
  • Oversee risk and control assessments, incident management, control testing, findings and remediation, with attention to systemic issues and recurring themes.
  • Partner with Group centres of expertise and represent APAC perspectives in global risk initiatives and forums.
  • Build trusted relationships across business and risk functions, leading through influence, constructive challenge and credible expertise.

Skills and Capabilities Required:

  • Extensive experience in enterprise, operational, strategic or integrated risk management, ideally within financial services and across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong knowledge of risk governance, enterprise risk frameworks and independent second-line oversight.
  • Credibility across operational, cyber, climate, regulatory, geopolitical and strategic risk topics, with curiosity to keep learning as risks evolve.
  • Experience advising senior leaders and governance committees, supported by clear communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Commercial judgement and the ability to connect risk insight with strategy, customer outcomes and sustainable business performance.
  • Inclusive leadership, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to develop a high-performing, insight-led team.

All members enjoy:

  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible working, including hybrid, designed to support you at every stage of life.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
