Job Description

Senior Operational Risk Consultant Europe

As Senior Operational Risk Consultant, you will collaborate as a valued partner for all Europe Market and Country/Cluster Management, supporting the countries/clusters in facilitating the delivery of a commercial, forward-looking and future-proof risk management framework.

You will be expected to understand the Europe processes and requirements and to look at operational risk management from an integrated perspective, ensuring alignment between Group strategy and local implementation.

In close alignment with the Global Operational Risk Management Team, the Europe RCF team and your peers, you will establish the appropriate risk management tactics for implementing the DLL Group Operational Risk Management Framework within the Europe, providing the DLL Europe countries/clusters and management with appropriate Operational Risk policies, tools, training and communication.

You will ensure the country/clusters understands its operational risk environment and the current and emerging operational risks inherent therein, quantifying both its appetite and current exposure to those risks and consciously taking mitigating measures commensurate with that appetite.

You will oversee and challenge the design and ongoing operational effectiveness of those mitigating measures via the Europe Market’s Risk & Control Framework, including the delivery of necessary remediation and/or lessons learned following operational incidents, and will ensure the Europe Market takes proactive steps to manage emerging regulatory expectations.

Ultimately, you will enable Europe Management to make timely and well-informed steering decisions based on a clear articulation of the Europe Market’s operational risk position.

The objective of your role is not only to provide assurance and countervailing challenge on the robustness of the operational risk management framework, but also to work as a valued partner with the 1st Line teams in a collaborative manner to improve risk culture and drive continuous risk and efficiency enhancements.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
