Docusign is looking for a software engineer to join our Compute Platform team, focused on building and managing scalable, resilient compute infrastructure. The Engineering Services team ensures critical back-end services scale with the company's continued rapid growth. You will be responsible for designing high-performance, resilient architectures, extending and implementing compute platform initiatives (such as container orchestration and cloud platform infrastructure) to support global-scale business needs. You will also work on infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code-based deployments. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager. Responsibility Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable compute infrastructure components Write clean, maintainable, and testable code for automation and infrastructure tools Collaborate with senior team members to understand engineering requirements and translate them into technical solutions Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and evolve the compute platform ecosystem, including managing container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and automation workflows Support the reliability and operational performance of compute environments through monitoring and incident response Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience 3+ years of software development or systems engineering experience Experience with distributed systems and software development lifecycles Preferred Familiarity with cloud platforms and container orchestration concepts Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (laC) and GitOps methodologies to manage and automate infrastructure Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation Interest in participating in on-call rotations and contributing to system reliability Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: Washington: $111,900.00 - $162,250.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
