Work with cutting-edge AI technology that helps make the world a safer and more secure place. DroneShield (ASX:DRO) develops market-leading counter-drone solutions used by military organisations, government agencies, airports, critical infrastructure operators, and law enforcement operating in some of the most challenging and high-stakes environments in the world. Employees work at the forefront of innovation, solving complex technical problems and delivering mission-critical capabilities where performance, reliability, and speed matter.

As an ASX200-listed company and the world's only publicly listed pure-play counter-drone business, DroneShield is experiencing rapid growth. Revenue increased from A$57 million in 2024 to more than A$217 million in 2025, supported by record profitability, a global sales pipeline exceeding A$2.5 billion, and annual R&D investment of over A$50 million.

Since 2017, DroneShield has grown from 11 employees to more than 550 globally, with operations across Australia, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, supporting customers in over 70 countries.

DroneShield's Amsterdam office serves as the company's European hub, supporting regional customers, partnerships, and growth across defence, security, and critical infrastructure markets.

About the role

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating DroneShield’s logistics activities across Europe, supporting the movement of products between DroneShield customers, distributors, suppliers, demonstration locations and other business partners.

The position will work closely with the Australian Team, as well as European Sales, Operations and other internal stakeholders, to ensure shipments are executed efficiently and in accordance with applicable customs, logistics and export control requirements.

Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations

  • Manage and coordinate European and international shipments, working with freight forwarders and customs brokers
  • Take ownership of day-to-day logistics activities in Europe, including inbound and outbound shipments and coordination of urgent or time-sensitive movements
  • Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions and other dispatch documentation, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate before shipment
  • Coordinate the import and export of goods into and from Europe, including working with customs brokers to facilitate customs clearance
  • Support DroneShield’s busy schedule of international demonstrations, trade shows and events, including temporary exports/imports and the subsequent return or onward movement of equipment
  • Coordinate the logistics component of RMA and repair movements, including equipment returning from customers or distributors and subsequent re-export or delivery
  • Track stock movements between DroneShield locations, customers, distributors, demonstrations and other external locations
  • Work across Sales, Production, Engineering, Finance and other internal teams to support delivery schedules and project deadlines
  • Support correct application of Incoterms, customs valuation, country of origin and import/export documentation requirements
  • Coordinate shipments involving dangerous goods or controlled goods where applicable, working with the appropriate internal specialists and logistics providers
  • Maintain appropriate shipment and customs records to support internal controls, audits and regulatory requirements
  • Provide visibility to the Australian team and relevant European stakeholders regarding shipment status, delays, customs clearances

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Approximately 5+ years of relevant logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain or international trade experience, preferably including responsibility for international shipments
  • Strong practical knowledge of European import and export processes and customs requirements
  • Experience working directly with customs brokers, freight forwarders, couriers, customers and distributors across multiple countries
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs duties and taxes, customs valuation, country of origin and import/export documentation
  • Experience managing temporary exports/imports, demonstration equipment, returns or RMA shipments is highly desirable
  • Experience with dangerous goods and/or controlled goods shipments is desirable
  • Knowledge or experience with international export controls, including EU Dual-Use controls, Australian export controls, EAR and ITAR, is highly desirable
  • Experience working within the defence, counter-UAS, aerospace, electronics or other regulated technology sectors would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing customs and shipping documentation
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of European logistics matters while operating as part of a geographically distributed global team
  • Strong ability to prioritise multiple urgent shipments, meet deadlines and operate effectively under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve freight, customs and delivery matters proactively
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external logistics providers

As DroneShield is a global business, occasional flexibility may be required to respond to urgent matters outside normal European business hours and coordinate with teams in other time zones.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
