The posting
Operations Associate, remote from Georgia
Georgia is where this hire lives. Give our website and LinkedIn ten minutes before you do anything else. In your Loom we will ask what we do, where you found out about us, and why you want to work at Drop Zero Digital. We reject answers that could be pasted onto any other company.
Who we are
Drop Zero Digital is a lifecycle marketing agency. Right now our AI image service is the quickest growing part of the business, and the person we hire in Georgia will help it grow through whichever area they run.
What you would do
One named area will be yours. The trial decides which, because we want to see where you are strongest first. Your area will be one of these:
- Hiring. You own how we find, screen and hire people: the whole funnel, with sourcing, chasing and scheduling, a tracker that tells the truth, and a warning from you when the process itself is faulty.
- Client delivery. You own how client work is planned, briefed, chased and shipped: timelines held, briefs that are complete, and nothing allowed to stall unseen.
Both come down to the same thing. You spot what slipped, you pick the fix, and you finish it unprompted.
The role is built on judgement. You will not be assisting, and you will not be coordinating. Each day brings real decisions, and the measure is how well you make them, not how much you clear. Our aim is a team of people who decide well unmanaged, so a job that starts with someone handing out tasks is not this one.
The people who do well here
- They decide and carry the consequences, wrong calls included.
- They sort their calls from other people's calls and get that boundary right each time.
- They take feedback as information and change, without caving on a view they have reason to hold.
- They improve fast: seventy percent and rising is worth more to us than eighty five and flat.
- They flag failure when they see it, even when the failing thing is our process.
- They write honestly and clearly, particularly when the news is bad.
The steps, start to finish
- Application with a short Loom video. Research us first.
- A short test by email: one real decision task, your internet speed, your computer, and a paragraph on your work history.
- A 15 minute call with the founder.
- A recorded video interview. One take, no re-records. We verify the work history you've told us about.
- A paid trial of six to eight weeks doing the real job.
The trial carries the decision, including which of the two areas you end up with. Live work begins in week one, and every call you make gets a straight answer from us on how it landed. It is paid from day one: half rate for the first two weeks while you find your feet, full rate from week three onward, and a completion payment when you finish the trial, whether or not we hire you. If we stop early, you are paid for the days you worked.
Experience and checks
We check your work history against what you tell us, and a false answer ends the application.
Each employer you name gets verified on dates, title and paid status, using a contract and payslips, in one exchange. We need one full-time job within the last 12 months. We set no other minimum, so a short history is fine. A misrepresented history is not fine, and it disqualifies. The true version, however short, is never penalised.
Requirements
- Full time after hire, as your only job. The paid trial is 4 hours a day, of which 2 sit at a fixed time within our working day, and you may stay in your current job throughout. After a pass you give notice and move to full time within 30 days.
- Dependable internet, at least 30 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up, checked live together.
- Strong written English.
- Based in Georgia.
- Your working hours are logged in our time tracking tool from day one.
Benefits
1500 USD per month on hire, set by responsibility and demonstrated capability, not by how long you have worked.
Pass your 90-day review and your pay goes up by 50 percent. The 90 days count from the day you start full time.
On top of that:
- A one-month annual bonus.
- 15 days of paid leave a year, rising with tenure, plus your own country's public holidays.
- Paid sick leave.
- A health allowance.
- A coworking allowance.
People who earn it see pay and responsibility rise quickly. Decisions that reach a client are handed over slowly and deliberately, on the strength of a record and never on a good first month. You should hear that now, not discover it in month two.
