Temporary Full-Time to June 30, 2027 Bargaining Unit CUPE Local 3223   Salary $75,818.09 – $90,906.89   Position Summary The Family Support Worker provides child management and parent education services to families receiving protection services, to achieve the goals of maintaining the child in the family where it is consistent with the child’s best interest, protection and safety; and supporting the successful reintegration of the child from CAS care to the family.   This position will conduct assessments of child management practices, provide child management education/services to increase family functioning. This position will work in close collaboration with the case manager and to determine the type of assistance required and to formulate intervention plans, as well as meeting all related Ministry standards and regulations.   Qualifications

3-year Child and Youth Worker Diploma or equivalent. 6+ months related experience. Computer experience, including word processing is required. Proficiency in a second language an asset.

  Additional Information Candidates must undergo and successfully pass a background check before an offer of employment may be made. Proof of education is required.   This position is a temporary contract covering a leave.
