The posting

DVT is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to build your accounting career while gaining exposure to a dynamic, multinational business environment. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, support critical finance processes, and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

We are looking for someone with a strong eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. If you enjoy working with numbers, solving challenges, and contributing to a high-performing team, we would love to hear from you.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant accounting experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Sage Intacct experience advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

What you will be doing:

  • Process supplier invoices accurately to the correct supplier and general ledger accounts.
  • Perform monthly supplier reconciliations between supplier statements and Sage Intacct accounts. Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies and reconciling items.
  • Load payments onto the banking platform for approval and release by authorised management
  • Process payment cashbook entries accurately. Maintain and reconcile the fixed assets schedule for the entity Maintain accurate supplier/vendor records.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of the Accounts Payable Trial Balance.
  • Maintain accurate filing and financial records for audit purposes.
  • Complete month-end reporting within specified time frames.
  • Monthly journals for associated entities. Assist with month-end procedures, including accruals, prepayments, and AP ledger reconciliations.
  • Adhoc projects and exercises as and when required by management.
