Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior CloudOps Engineer with strong, hands-on Microsoft Azure expertise and production experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This senior engineering role is focused on delivering secure, resilient and well-managed production cloud services.

You will take technical ownership of complex operational issues across Azure infrastructure and container environments, working with platform, application and security teams. You will apply advanced troubleshooting, automation and Infrastructure as Code to improve availability, performance, security and operational consistency, while providing technical guidance and sharing knowledge across the team.

Key Responsibilities

*Provide senior-level operational support for enterprise Azure environments, covering compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring and backup, including incident response, service request fulfilment and controlled change execution.

*Act as a senior technical escalation point, independently diagnosing complex Azure and container-platform incidents and driving service restoration and root cause resolution.

*Operate and maintain production Red Hat OpenShift or AKS platforms, including cluster health, nodes, networking, access, capacity and platform lifecycle activities; collaborate with application teams to troubleshoot workload issues across DXC-managed environments.

*Continuously improve service delivery through automation of repeatable tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

*Address recurring issues through root cause analysis, infrastructure code fixes and design improvements, and implement platform patching and security remediation through approved change processes.

*Identify and implement operational improvements and automation opportunities.

*Provide technical guidance and mentoring, maintain operational documentation and runbooks, and share Azure and container-platform knowledge while contributing to DevOps improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

*Extensive hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise Microsoft Azure production environments, with strong practical depth across virtual machines, virtual networks, routing, DNS, load balancing, storage, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Azure Monitor and Azure Backup. Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification or equivalent demonstrated capability is required

*Proven hands-on experience operating Red Hat OpenShift or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) in production. Strong experience in at least one is essential. Practical capability must include cluster and node operations, Kubernetes workload troubleshooting, networking, ingress, persistent storage, access controls, monitoring and platform upgrades.

*Strong infrastructure fundamentals across networking, identity and security, with operational depth in Windows or Linux administration and the ability to troubleshoot dependencies between Azure infrastructure and container platforms.

*Demonstrated ability to automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python, and practical experience maintaining infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code and version control.

*Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies.

*Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies and frameworks.

*Demonstrated senior-level ownership of complex production incidents, including systematic troubleshooting, service restoration and root cause analysis

*Clear communication and collaborative working skills, with the ability to explain technical issues, coordinate across support teams and mentor engineers through knowledge sharing and practical guidance.

Desirable Skills

*Experience using Dynatrace to monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure

*Experience supporting and managing AWS cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, security, monitoring and day-to-day operational troubleshooting.

*Experience working with Executive level stakeholders communications

*Experience with automation tasks via Ansible.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
