Job Title: eCommerce Merchandiser (International Returns) Location: London (Travel to Corby Required Occasionally) Reporting to: Head of Programs Key Relationships: Program Management, Operations & Hub Management, Compliance, eBay

Who We’re Looking For:

Easyship runs eBay’s International Returns programme, and every returned item is an opportunity to recover value. We’re looking for a eCommerce Merchandiser to own the resale of that returned inventory. You’ll assess and triage returned items, set pricing and resale strategy, list them across resale channels, and keep stock moving so aging inventory stays low. We’re after someone commercially minded and detail-oriented, who enjoys turning returns into revenue and uses data to keep improving the approach.

What would you be responsible for:

  • Assessing, grading, and triaging returned items to decide the best route for each unit.
  • Setting pricing and resale strategy to maximise recovery value, balancing speed of sale against margin.
  • Listing and presenting items across resale channels, with accurate titles, photos, descriptions, and categorisation.
  • Managing stock flow: keeping aging inventory low, clearing slow movers, and prioritising high-value units.
  • Choosing between bulk and individual resale (liquidation lots or piece-by-piece) based on which returns the most value.
  • Tracking recovery rate, sell-through, inventory aging, and margin per unit, and refining strategy based on the results.
  • Working with Program Management, Operations, and Compliance to keep the programme running smoothly.

You Might Be a Good Fit If:

  • You have experience in eCommerce resale, online marketplace selling (eBay or similar), liquidation, or returns and reverse logistics.
  • You have strong commercial and pricing judgement, and you’re comfortable with margin and recovery calculations.
  • You have a sharp eye for detail when grading condition and writing listings.
  • You’re analytical and use data to refine pricing and resale decisions.
  • You’re highly organised and can prioritise high volumes of time-sensitive stock.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and challenge the status quo to get better outcomes.
  • Bonus: liquidation or B2B bulk-lot selling; cross-border shipping and international returns; knowledge of restricted and prohibited goods; experience with inventory or warehouse management systems.

Why You’ll Love Working at Easyship?

  • Competitive compensation with equity options
  • Comprehensive health insurance
  • Gym & wellness reimbursement
  • Work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year
  • Generous vacation policy, duvet days, and mental health days

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
