The posting

Company Description

Ready to apply your treasury and finance expertise in a role that directly influences cash strategy, reporting and decision-making across a major energy business? As a Treasury Cash and Working Capital Analyst at EDF, you'll help shape financial insight and performance. Success is Personal.

We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates who are available to start at short notice or are immediately available, although we welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates.

Job Description

The Opportunity

This newly created role reflects an increased focus on UK cash reporting and consolidated balance sheet reporting. Reporting to the Treasury Manager, you'll play a key role in strengthening financial visibility, supporting effective cash management, and delivering insights that help inform decisions across EDF's Customers and Corporate functions.

You'll join us on a salary starting of at least £45,000 per annum, alongside a competitive benefits package. This hybrid role is based at our #London office, with an expectation of attending site two days per week while benefiting from flexible remote working for the remainder of your time.

Working across Treasury and Corporate Functions, you'll support a broad portfolio of activities including cash reporting and forecasting, working capital analysis, balance sheet reporting, treasury systems development, automation and continuous improvement. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of stakeholders while helping drive efficiencies and supporting EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain.

Across smart meters, heating and electric vehicles, EDF's Customers business is helping to shape a smarter, energy-saving future. We're proud to be a Sunday Times Best Places to Work Top 10 Very Big Organisation for two years running and a Highly Commended workplace for disabled employees.

In Customers Finance, our SPIRIT values (Supportive, Professional, Inquisitive, Respectful, Inclusive and Transparent) are at the heart of how we work. Whatever your role, you'll support a culture built on trust, collaboration, curiosity and continuous improvement, helping us deliver great outcomes for our customers, colleagues and business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join EDF on an initial 12-month contract, with the potential for extension or a permanent opportunity in the future. It's an excellent way to develop your career, gain exposure across Treasury and Finance, and make a real impact from day one.

We're keen to appoint to this position as soon as possible and welcome applications from candidates who are available to start at short notice.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
