Job Description

The importance of water to the health of our world can’t be overstated.

As the frequency and intensity of floods, droughts and storms increases, the water industry must continue to build resiliency and lead from the front.

Together with our clients, we are thinking and doing things differently to help pre-empt and prepare for what's next. Be a part of this dynamic and committed team of diverse water specialists and drive change for your community.

You’ll be able to apply our powerful global network of skills and decades of experience to create positive water outcomes that respect nature and nurture communities.

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our Water team in Hyannis, Massachusetts, where you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful water, wastewater, utility, and infrastructure projects throughout the region. You’ll be an integral member of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, contributing to projects from early planning through detailed design and construction. In this role, you’ll support and prepare technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates, and permitting packages, while also helping to shape project delivery strategies, job management plans, and quality assurance processes that keep work moving efficiently and on budget.

As a Project Engineer, you’ll collaborate closely with CAD designers to develop high-quality design and construction documents, conduct field investigations and condition assessments to identify process needs and practical solutions, and contribute to environmental studies, specifications, and construction schedules. You’ll also support pricing, scoping, and marketing efforts for new and existing clients, helping position projects for success.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who’s eager to grow their project management skills while making a meaningful impact on critical water infrastructure in the Cape Cod region.

  • Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
