Role Overview: Machine Learning and AI Scientist

The Machine Learning and AI Scientist, as part of this third-party engagement, holds a pivotal role in propelling innovation within healthcare diagnostics. This collaborative initiative marries advanced research with practical product development, aiming to not only redefine the boundaries of the current state-of-the-art but also translate these advancements into tangible real-world impact. The role involves seamless collaboration with a diverse array of professionals, ranging from manufacturing experts to medical practitioners conducting clinical trials. We are actively seeking a proficient machine learning and AI scientist to join this endeavor and contribute to the development of cutting-edge diagnostic technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of novel algorithms tailored to applications central to diagnostic systems.
  • Swift prototyping of machine learning and signal processing pipelines to enhance diagnostic accuracy in relevant applications.
  • Collaboration with fellow researchers and engineers to construct and efficiently validate machine learning algorithms using simulations and real-world data from hardware systems.
  • Staying updated on the latest algorithmic advancements and driving innovations that surpass the current state of the art.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Profound expertise in machine learning, optimization, and deep neural networks.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing machine learning algorithms for real-world applications.
  • Ability to leverage real-world data to enhance machine learning-based systems.
  • Strong mathematical foundation.
  • Preferred experience with time series analysis algorithms.
  • Interdisciplinary team collaboration experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and MATLAB.
