Job Description: HR Executive – Employee Engagement & Recruitment

Department: Human Resources

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 2–5 years

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR professional to manage employee engagement initiatives, coordinate company activities and events, and support recruitment operations. The role will focus on enhancing employee experience and workplace culture while assisting with end-to-end recruitment activities to meet the organization's hiring needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Engagement & Activities

  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, celebrations, festivals, team outings, and company events.
  • Organize birthday celebrations, work anniversaries, employee recognition programs, and team-building initiatives.
  • Maintain an employee engagement calendar and coordinate internal communications.
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys, collect feedback, and recommend improvements.
  • Support initiatives that promote employee morale, well-being, and a positive workplace culture.

2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Coordinate recruitment activities for technical and non-technical positions.
  • Post job openings on relevant job portals and professional networking platforms.
  • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial HR discussions, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
  • Follow up with candidates and interviewers to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
  • Maintain candidate databases, recruitment trackers, and hiring reports.
  • Support offer coordination, candidate follow-ups, and pre-joining communication.

3. General HR Support

  • Assist with new employee onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Coordinate employee communications and HR initiatives.
  • Maintain relevant HR records, trackers, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR team members and business stakeholders on employee-related initiatives.
  • Support other HR activities and special projects as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in HR, recruitment, employee engagement, or a combination of these areas.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with job portals, LinkedIn sourcing, and interview coordination.
  • Ability to organize events and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and HRMS tools.
  • A creative, proactive, and employee-focused approach.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Successful planning and execution of employee engagement activities.
  • Employee participation and feedback on engagement initiatives.
  • Timely completion of assigned recruitment activities.
  • Candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and recruitment turnaround time.
  • Accuracy of recruitment trackers and HR documentation.
  • Contribution to a positive employee experience and workplace culture.
