Als Continuous Improvement Engineer speel je een sleutelrol in het verbeteren van productieprocessen, productkwaliteit en operationele prestaties binnen industriële productieomgevingen. Je combineert technische expertise, data-analyse en samenwerking op de werkvloer om processen stabieler, efficiënter en kwalitatiever te maken.

Procesverbetering en kwaliteitsborging

  • Analyseer productieprocessen en identificeer verbeterkansen rond kwaliteit, rendement en efficiëntie.
  • Optimaliseer werkmethodes, machineprestaties en procesparameters met aandacht voor technische en economische haalbaarheid.
  • Voer product- en procesaudits uit, documenteer bevindingen en volg verbeteracties op.
  • Bewaak de correcte toepassing van procedures en zorg ervoor dat verbeteringen duurzaam worden verankerd binnen de organisatie.
  • Ondersteun procescontrole en kwaliteitsborging via SPC, R&R-analyses, kwaliteitsmetingen en andere kwaliteitsmethodieken.
  • Draag actief bij aan het verhogen van processtabiliteit en het beperken van verliezen en afwijkingen.

Operationele opvolging en verbeterprojecten

  • Werk dagelijks samen met productie-, kwaliteits- en engineeringteams op de productievloer.
  • Volg scrap meetings op en analyseer kwaliteitsafwijkingen om corrigerende en preventieve acties te definiëren.
  • Neem deel aan productie- en kwaliteitsvergaderingen en vertaal inzichten naar concrete actieplannen.
  • Evalueer inkomende materialen kritisch en stem af met interne stakeholders over structurele kwaliteitsverbeteringen.
  • Ondersteun de introductie van nieuwe producten met aandacht voor meetmiddelen, processtabiliteit en kwaliteitsvereisten.
  • Volg verbeterprojecten op van analyse tot implementatie en borging.

Impact van de functieJe levert een directe bijdrage aan hogere productkwaliteit, verbeterde efficiëntie, minder uitval en stabielere productieprocessen. Door data, techniek en samenwerking te combineren, help je de organisatie om operationele prestaties duurzaam te verbeteren.

  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in Ingenieurswetenschappen of gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Je hebt kennis van of interesse in kwaliteits- en verbetermethodieken zoals R&R, OEE, SPC, product- en procesaudits.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met of bereid te werken met systemen zoals ERP, MES, WMS en CAQ.
  • Je werkt vlot met Microsoft Office voor rapportering, analyse en communicatie.
  • Je communiceert professioneel in het Nederlands en Engels
  • Je hebt interesse in Lean, Operational Excellence, QRM en continue verbetering binnen een industriële omgeving
  • Je houdt rekening met veiligheid, kwaliteit, milieu, ergonomie
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld en weet data om te zetten in concrete verbeteracties
  • Je neemt initiatief, werkt graag samen met verschillende afdelingen
  • Je combineert een hands-on mentaliteit met een gestructureerde en resultaatgerichte aanpak
