Een hoogtechnologisch productiebedrijf in Belgisch Limburg dat wereldwijd meetapparatuur ontwikkelt voor de metaalindustrie. Binnen deze rol werk je aan geavanceerde temperatuurmeetsystemen die functioneren in extreme productieomgevingen.

Als Embedded Software Engineer ontwikkel en optimaliseer je embedded software voor geavanceerde temperatuurmeetsystemen binnen een hoogtechnologische productieomgeving. Je combineert softwareontwikkeling, elektronica en systeemintegratie om betrouwbare en nauwkeurige oplossingen te realiseren voor extreme industriële omstandigheden.Embedded softwareontwikkeling* Ontwikkel en onderhoud embedded software in C en C++ voor ARM-gebaseerde controllers.* Vertaal functionele requirements naar betrouwbare en performante softwareoplossingen.* Ontwikkel software voor het verwerken en interpreteren van metingen en signalen.* Integreer software met hardware, sensoren en drivers.* Denk mee over softwaredesign, requirements en systeemarchitectuur.* Volg nieuwe features en technische wijzigingen op via het interne ticketsysteem.Systeemintegratie en technische samenwerking* Integreer en test communicatieprotocollen zoals SPI, Ethernet, USB en BLE.* Analyseer en debug embedded systemen en werk gerichte oplossingen uit.* Werk nauw samen met hardware- en elektronica-engineers en externe partners.* Draag bij aan de kwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid en continue verbetering van het volledige systeem.* Neem zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid voor technische keuzes en softwareoplossingen.

* Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in elektronica, computerwetenschappen of een gelijkaardige technische richting.* Je hebt meerdere jaren relevante ervaring met embedded softwareontwikkeling.* Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van C en C++.* Je hebt ervaring met ARM-controllers en embedded systemen.* Je begrijpt de samenwerking tussen software, hardware, sensoren, signalen en drivers.* Je vertaalt requirements zelfstandig naar concrete technische oplossingen.* Je neemt ownership, werkt proactief en formuleert zelfstandig technische voorstellen.* Je communiceert open over ideeën, problemen en timing en werkt graag samen.* Affiniteit met elektronica en hardware-integratie is een sterke troef.* Ervaring met Git en Azure DevOps is een pluspunt.* Kennis van Assembler of C# is mooi meegenomen.* Je bent als ervaren engineer snel zelfstandig inzetbaar.
