Je kunt reageren tot zondag 4 oktober 2026 Stel je voor Je werkdag begint op het waterschapshuis in Groningen. Met een kop koffie open je je mailbox. Er liggen een paar adviesvragen van collega's van Vergunningen & Handhaving. De ene gaat over de minimale afmetingen van een waterkering, de andere over een complexe gestuurde boring onder een primaire waterkering. Later op de ochtend werk je verder aan de jaarlijkse actualisatie van de regeling voor dijkbewaking, zodat alles op orde is voordat het stormseizoen begint. Na de lunch stap je in de auto voor een projectbezoek aan een dijkversterking bij Lauwersoog. Samen met collega's bespreek je de voortgang en de technische uitdagingen. Terug op kantoor sluit je de dag af met een online overleg van een landelijke kennisgroep over de nieuwste ontwikkelingen binnen het Beoordelings- en Ontwerpinstrumentarium (BOI). In de auto onderweg naar huis besef je dat jouw werk misschien niet dagelijks het nieuws haalt, maar wel van grote betekenis is. Dankzij jouw adviezen worden de juiste keuzes gemaakt, blijven waterkeringen veilig en kunnen duizenden inwoners vertrouwen op waterveiligheid. Juist die combinatie van inhoudelijke diepgang, maatschappelijke impact en de vrijheid om mee te denken over de toekomst van waterveiligheid maakt dat je iedere dag met voldoening naar huis rijdt.
