Pels Rijcken logo Advocaat-medewerker Privacyrecht - Hybride - - Den Haag , Zuid-Holland , Nederland Functieomschrijving Wij zoeken een (vergevorderde) advocaat medewerker die de sectie Innovation, Privacy & Technology (IP&T) komt versterken. Binnen de sectie IP&T werken wij in een multidisciplinair team van advocaten gespecialiseerd in het privacyrecht, IT-recht en IE- en mediarecht, aan mooie en vaak complexe zaken. Heb je minstens vijf jaar ervaring als advocaat privacyrecht? Dan biedt deze vacature een prachtige kans! Wat ga je doen? Je start als advocaat medewerker binnen ons multidisciplinaire IPT-team. Jouw focus zal daarbij komen te liggen op het privacyrecht. Daarbij zul je, vaak in samenwerking met andere collega's, een breed scala aan zaken behandelen. Aan de ene kant kan dat gaan om advisering over allerhande (complexe) privacyrechtelijke vragen, vaak met maatschappelijke impact. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan adviezen over de privacyrechtelijke aspecten van AI-toepassingen en inzet van algoritmen (klik hier voor een voorbeeld), aan de inzet van biometrische toegangspoortjes binnen het betaald voetbal en aan adviezen over de toelaatbaarheid van de uitwisseling van persoonsgegevens tussen (overheids)organisaties. Zo zijn bijvoorbeeld alle adviezen die je hier vindt voor zover het de juridische analyses betreft van onze hand. Wat ons onder meer uniek maakt, is dat we niet alleen of vooral adviseren, maar ook veel procederen. Je kunt je bij ons op het gebied van het privacyrecht dus echt ontwikkelen tot proces-advocaat. Zo zijn wij betrokken bij verschillende collectieve acties in privacyrechtelijke massaschadezaken, voeren wij voor onze (overheids)cliënten vele procedures over de rechtmatigheid van verwerkingen van persoonsgegevens en wetgeving die daarover gaat en voeren wij vaak verweer in procedures over de rechten van betrokkenen, zoals het inzage- en verwijderingsrecht.
