In deze rol stuur je een afdeling met circa 100 medewerkers aan, ben je boegbeeld binnen én buiten de organisatie en maak je echt verschil voor de stad en regio Amersfoort. De organisatie en afdeling zijn in beweging en jij zorgt voor een heldere richting en integraliteit in een veranderende omgeving. Jouw rol Als afdelingsmanager Woon- en Werkklimaat geef je leiding aan professionals die werken aan thema's wonen, economie, cultuur en milieu. De teams werken nauw samen met andere gemeentelijke afdelingen en met partners in de stad, de regio en het Rijk. Jij bent eindverantwoordelijk leidinggevende en vormt samen met drie teammanagers het managementteam van de afdeling. De afdeling is in ontwikkeling en gegroeid in haar taken. Dit vraagt om versterking van integraal werken, zowel binnen het fysiek domein als daarbuiten. Organisatiebreed wordt gewerkt aan een nieuw sturingsmodel dat richting geeft aan de inrichting, aansturing en verdere ontwikkeling van de organisatie. Jij begeleidt de afdeling in deze ontwikkelingen. Samen met de teams weet je een stevige basis neer te zetten en voor samenhang te zorgen. Je borgt processen en werkwijzen in het managementteam en zorgt dat afspraken ook echt landen in de praktijk. Je brengt de teammanagers - die relatief nieuw zijn in hun functie - in positie en begeleidt hen in hun groei. Je hebt een sterk verbindende rol en bent zichtbaar als aanspreekpunt, binnen de organisatie en daarbuiten. Je combineert leiderschap met strategisch partnerschap en je bent een stevige gesprekspartner voor bestuur, directie en externe partners.
