The posting

The opportunity

Our Client designs, supports and maintains IT solutions for mission-critical operations at international customer sites — where conventional IT meets industrial operational technology, and reliability, clear communication and disciplined execution really matter. We're strengthening our Service Desk with an experienced Level 2 engineer who takes end-to-end ownership, collaborates across teams, keeps customers informed, and helps the whole support organization work more consistently and effectively.

What you'll do

  • Own assigned incidents and service requests end-to-end — from acceptance through resolution, validation and documented closure
  • Diagnose complex application, infrastructure, integration, database and OS issues using logs, traces and structured troubleshooting
  • Restore service via remote or on-site intervention, respecting operational, security and change-control requirements
  • Analyze problems, reproduce defects in lab/virtual environments, and collaborate with Development and DevOps on fixes
  • Perform planned preventive and corrective maintenance, and support release validation and go-live readiness
  • Maintain documentation, build knowledge articles, and drive continuous improvement across the support organization

Why join us

  • Work on technically varied systems supporting real-time, mission-critical operations
  • Combine IT, OT, customer interaction, troubleshooting, maintenance and improvement in one role
  • Collaborate with experienced support, operations, development, DevOps and project teams
  • Grow within an international technology group with a global customer footprint
  • 3+ years of hands-on Level 2 (or equivalent) IT application/infrastructure support in a business-critical environment
  • Strong troubleshooting across Windows and/or Linux, networks, services, logs, databases and distributed applications
  • Experience with incident, request, problem and change practices in an ITIL-aligned organization
  • Clear technical writing in English; working proficiency in French (must have) and Dutch
  • Valid category B driving license; willing to travel to customer sites and join a compensated on-call rotation

Nice to have:

  • Microsoft Server stack (Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server) and/or Linux/Unix administration
  • Relational & NoSQL platforms: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
  • Integration, APIs, messaging & MicroServices (e.g. ActiveMQ, Apache Camel)
  • Scripting/automation in Python, PowerShell, JavaScript or C#
  • Experience in industrial IT/OT or other 24/7 operational environments; Jira & Confluence

The mindset we're looking for:

You take ownership rather than waiting for others to unblock a ticket, and you stay accountable until a sound handover or closure. You collaborate constructively, communicate calmly under pressure, and stay curious — turning lessons into documentation or automation. You troubleshoot methodically, respect procedures, and are reliable when it matters most.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
