The posting

Als Mechanical Technician bij onze klant in de regio Gent, zal je verantwoordelijk zijn voor het analyseren en oplossen van technische storingen met een focus op duurzame oplossingen. Je werkt nauw samen met operatoren en ondersteunt hen bij kleinere technische interventies. Daarnaast voer je preventief onderhoud uit aan productiemachines, installaties en utilities. Je sluit nieuwe machines aan, installeert ze en zorgt voor een correcte inbedrijfstelling. Het up-to-date houden van technische documentatie en het actief meedenken over verbeteringen behoren ook tot jouw takenpakket.

Voor deze functie zijn we op zoek naar een kandidaat met een bachelor in Elektromechanica, Mechanica of een gelijkwaardige technische achtergrond. Je hebt een sterke interesse in mechanica en techniek, met kennis van onder meer pompen, transmissies, draai- en freeswerk en lassen. Ervaring binnen industrieel onderhoud in een productie- of chemische omgeving is een pluspunt. Je bent analytisch, gestructureerd en nauwkeurig, en hebt oog voor detail. Daarnaast ben je een teamspeler die ook zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid kan opnemen. Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en hebt een goede kennis van het Engels.
