Een sterk lokaal bestuur begint bij mensen die samen vooruit willen. Als algemeen directeur van gemeente en OCMW Ravels geef jij die samenwerking richting. Je inspireert medewerkers, adviseert het bestuur en vertaalt beleidsambities, de missie en de visie naar resultaten die onze inwoners elke dag ervaren.

Jouw uitdaging: van ambitie naar resultaat

Je staat aan het hoofd van onze gemeentelijke en OCMW-diensten en leidt het dagelijkse personeelsbeheer. Samen met het managementteam bouw je aan een organisatie waarin medewerkers hun talenten inzetten, diensten vlot samenwerken en inwoners kunnen rekenen op een toegankelijke, kwaliteitsvolle dienstverlening. Als schakel tussen bestuur en administratie maak je plannen haalbaar en zorg je dat beslissingen en het meerjarenplan hun weg vinden naar de praktijk. Je brengt strategisch inzicht, juridisch advies en een doordachte aanpak samen.

Dit wordt jouw impact:

  • Je geeft mensen richting. Je coacht leidinggevenden, versterkt competenties en creëert ruimte voor initiatief, samenwerking en ontwikkeling.
  • Je brengt beleid tot leven. Je ondersteunt de voorbereiding, uitvoering en evaluatie van het beleid en adviseert de bestuursorganen.
  • Je zorgt voor een sterke werking. Je coördineert de diensten en bewaakt kwaliteit, efficiëntie en klantgerichtheid.
  • Je bouwt vertrouwen op. Je maakt heldere afspraken tussen bestuur en administratie en bewaakt de juridische correctheid van dossiers en beslissingen.
  • Je houdt overzicht. Je versterkt de organisatiebeheersing en zorgt voor duidelijke processen, opvolging en rapportering.
  • Je zet middelen doordacht in. Je bewaakt de inzet van mensen, budgetten en tijd en werkt met het managementteam aan onder meer het organogram, de rechtspositieregeling en de beleidsrapporten.
  • Je maakt vooruitgang mogelijk. Je herkent kansen voor verbetering en innovatie en zet ze samen met je medewerkers om in concrete acties.

Je bent een toegankelijke leider met visie en daadkracht. Je luistert, maakt keuzes en communiceert helder. Je geeft teams vertrouwen en houvast, ziet waar talent zit en helpt medewerkers groeien. Je voelt aan wat leeft binnen de organisatie en het bestuur. Verschillende belangen afwegen, prioriteiten stellen en ook onder druk het overzicht bewaren: daarin ligt jouw kracht.

Daarnaast breng je mee:

  • Een sterke betrokkenheid bij inwoners en kwaliteitsvolle dienstverlening.
  • Een grondige kennis van het lokaal bestuur en relevante regelgeving, waaronder het decreet lokaal bestuur, openbaarheid van bestuur en overheidsopdrachten.
  • Een stevige basis in management: van personeel en financiën tot organisatie, processen, projecten, ICT en documentbeheer.
  • Digitale vaardigheid en de bereidheid om je verder te verdiepen in specifieke software en regelgeving.
  • Integriteit, verantwoordelijkheidszin en de wil om over de grenzen van diensten heen samen te werken.
  • Een open blik op je eigen aanpak en de ambitie om jezelf te blijven ontwikkelen.
  • Je bouwt en onderhoudt een sterk extern netwerk en werkt actief samen met andere besturen, intercommunales en relevante partners

Aanwervingsvoorwaarden

Je beschikt over:

  • een masterdiploma of gelijkgesteld diploma dat toegang geeft tot niveau A;
  • minstens 2 jaar werkervaring in een leidinggevende rol;
  • de Belgische nationaliteit.
