Utrecht Analist/associate Functie omschrijving Doel van de functie Ondersteunt de realisatie van de groeistrategie door acquisities, partnerships en strategische investeringen analytisch en procesmatig voor te bereiden en uit te voeren. Positie in de organisatie - Team: Onderdeel van het team Corporate Development & M&A. - Rapporteert aan: Head of Corporate Development & M&A. - Samenwerking met: Finance, Commercie, Operations, Legal en de directie. Kerntaken - Bouwen en onderhouden van financiële modellen (waarderingen, DCF, business cases, capex- en pricing-analyses) en het toetsen van aannames met de business. - Uitvoeren van markt-, sector- en targetanalyses; opstellen van longlists en investment cases. - Coördineren van transactieprocessen: due diligence aansturen, adviseurs begeleiden, dataroom en Q&A beheren, issuelijsten bewaken. - Opstellen van besluitvormingsdocumentatie voor directie, aandeelhouders en Raad van Commissarissen (memo's, investment proposals, presentaties). - Ondersteunen bij onderhandelingen en documentatie (LOI, SPA) in samenwerking met Legal en externe adviseurs. - Bijdragen aan post-merger integratie en value tracking van gerealiseerde transacties. - Meewerken aan strategische analyses en het jaarlijkse strategie- en planningsproces. Profiel - WO-opleiding in finance, natuurkunde, wiskunde, scheikunde, economie of vergelijkbaar. - 2-5 jaar relevante ervaring in M&A, transaction services, corporate finance, strategy consulting of een corporate development-team. - Sterk in financiële modellering (Excel) en in het helder presenteren van complexe analyses. - Zelfstandig, gestructureerd, accuraat en comfortabel met meerdere trajecten tegelijk. - Affiniteit met de energietransitie en energie-infrastructuur; nieuwsgierig naar hoe de business echt werkt. - Uitstekende beheersing van Nederlands en Engels.
