Koninklijk Nederlands Lucht en Ruimtevaartcentrum logo Application Engineer Composites (m/v/x) - Op locatie - - Marknesse , Flevoland , Nederland - Aerospace Vehicles Functieomschrijving Ben je een enthousiaste Engineer (BSc.)) die wil werken aan de ontwikkeling van duurzame lichtgewicht constructies en bijbehorende fabricage technologie voor composieten? Op weg naar een volgende stap in je loopbaan of net afgestudeerd? Wil je werken in een hightech omgeving met state-of-the-art apparatuur? Lees dan vooral verder! Wat ga je doen? Samen met een gemotiveerd team van collega's werk je aan de ontwikkeling van nieuwe innovatieve constructie en fabricage concepten voor lichtgewicht en duurzame composiet constructies. Je stelt werkinstructies op t.b.v. fabricage-experimenten zoals bijvoorbeeld voor persprocessen, het lassen van thermoplasten of voor automated fibreplacement van bio-based composiet materialen. Daarnaast ontwerp je bijvoorbeeld tooling en mallen, programmeer je robot systemen of hou je je bezig met de verwerking, interpretatie en rapportage van de onderzoeksresultaten. Aan het begin van je carrière word je gekoppeld aan een coach die je met raad en daad ondersteunt. Wat breng je mee? • HBO Werktuigbouwkunde of Luchtvaarttechniek; • Affiniteit/ervaring met composietmaterialen en bijbehorende fabricageprocessen; • Ervaring met ontwerpen middels 3D CAD programma's zoals bijvoorbeeld Catia of Solid Works; • 2-5 jaar ervaring met composietmaterialen en bijbehorende fabricageprocessen is een pré; • Teamgeest, resultaatgerichtheid, initiatief, flexibiliteit en gevoel voor humor; • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels.
