In één oogopslag

Onze klant is een familiebedrijf met een lange traditie en een stevige internationale voetafdruk in meer dan 25 landen. Hun specialiteit? Ervoor zorgen dat andere bedrijven kunnen werken. Van balpennen en printpapier tot technologie, hygiëne, veiligheid en comfort op de werkvloer: als het op een werkplek thuishoort, is de kans groot dat het via hen binnenkomt. Met duizenden producten en diensten helpen ze klanten om hun leveranciers te bundelen en kosten te drukken, niet als loutere leverancier, maar als echte partner

Hoe ziet je dag eruit?

Elke dag vertrekken er bestellingen naar kantoren in heel de Benelux. En elke bestelling wordt vroeg of laat een factuur. Als AR Accountant (Accounts Receivable) zorg jij ervoor dat die factuur de juiste weg vindt, dat de betaling netjes binnenkomt en dat alles correct in de boeken staat. Je bent de bewaker van de inkomende geldstromen en tegelijk een belangrijke schakel tussen Finance, Sales en Customer Service.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Klantenfacturen opmaken, versturen en opvolgen voor verschillende entiteiten binnen de Benelux
  • Betalingen controleren en boeken, afpuntingen verwerken en openstaande posten opvolgen
  • Klantensaldi actief bewaken en zelf initiatief nemen om laattijdige betalingen te voorkomen
  • Contact onderhouden met klanten over facturatie en betalingsafspraken, in nauwe samenwerking met het Credit Control-team
  • Reconciliaties uitvoeren en rapportages voorbereiden voor de maand- en kwartaalafsluiting
  • Instaan voor de AR-gerelateerde rapportering
  • Ondersteunen bij auditprocessen en waken over interne controles en compliance
  • Meedenken over procesverbetering, digitalisering en efficiëntie binnen de AR-werking
  • Het accountingteam ondersteunen bij diverse administratieve taken

Wie ben jij?

Je bent nauwkeurig, communicatief en je wordt oprecht blij van een reconciliatie die in één keer sluit. Je werkt graag zelfstandig, maar je deelt net zo graag je kennis (en af en toe je post-its) met je collega's.

  • Je hebt een bachelor in boekhouding of financiën, of gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in Accounts Receivable
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van boekhoudprincipes en btw
  • Je hebt ervaring met een ERP-systeem (SAP is een sterke plus) en werkt vlot met Excel
  • Je werkt gestructureerd en nauwkeurig en voelt je verantwoordelijk voor je resultaat
  • Je hebt een hands-on mentaliteit en zin om processen continu te verbeteren
  • Je communiceert vlot in Nederlands en Engels; Frans is een pluspunt
  • Je bent klant- en oplossingsgericht: je denkt mee in plaats van af te wachten
