Als Automation Engineer bij een technische organisatie in Bergen op Zoom richt je je op de besturing van industriële machines en processen. Je vertaalt functionele eisen naar overzichtelijke PLC-software en een bedienbare HMI. Daarbij kijk je niet alleen naar de programmatuur, maar ook naar de samenhang tussen sensoren, aandrijvingen, veiligheidsfuncties en communicatie. Je doel is een installatie die betrouwbaar werkt en waarvan storingen goed te achterhalen zijn. In de dagelijkse praktijk wissel je programmeren af met testen, analyseren en technisch overleg. Je stemt interfaces af met elektrotechnische en werktuigbouwkundige collega's en betrekt gebruikers bij de bediening. Tijdens inbedrijfstelling controleer je of de besturing ook onder praktijkomstandigheden doet wat is afgesproken. Zo verdiep je je kennis van regeltechniek, industriële netwerken en onderhoudbare softwarestructuren. Wat ga je doen? - Functionele eisen vertalen naar PLC-programma's en besturingslogica - HMI-schermen ontwikkelen met heldere bediening en bruikbare alarmmeldingen - Signaaluitwisseling tussen PLC's, sensoren en aandrijvingen configureren en testen - Besturingssoftware testen en ondersteunen bij de inbedrijfstelling van installaties - Storingen analyseren en verbeteringen in software en regelgedrag doorvoeren - Softwarewijzigingen, testresultaten en technische keuzes documenteren Wat vragen we van jou? - Technische opleiding in elektrotechniek, mechatronica of industriële automatisering - Praktische ervaring met het programmeren en testen van PLC-besturingen - Kennis van een gangbaar PLC-platform, zoals Siemens TIA Portal of Beckhoff TwinCAT - Inzicht in HMI-ontwikkeling en industriële communicatie, zoals PROFINET of Modbus TCP - Vaardigheid in het lezen van elektrische schema's en systematisch zoeken naar storingen - Heldere communicatie met technische collega's en gebruikers van installaties Wat bieden wij jou? - Bruto maandsalaris tussen € 3.800 en € 5.000 (indicatie op basis v.
