The posting

Als Automation Engineer in Breda werk je aan de besturing van machines en industriële processen. Bij een organisatie binnen de industriële automatisering vertaal je functionele wensen naar overzichtelijke besturingssoftware. Je richt je op PLC-programmering, HMI-bediening en de koppeling tussen software en elektrotechnische componenten. Daarbij kijk je niet alleen naar de werking van een installatie, maar ook naar storingsdiagnose, onderhoudbaarheid en een veilige bediening. In de dagelijkse praktijk wissel je programmeren af met testen, analyseren en technisch overleg. Je stemt af met elektrotechnici, engineers en gebruikers om te zorgen dat de besturing aansluit op het proces. Tijdens het testen onderzoek je afwijkingen en verbeter je de software stap voor stap. Zo verdiep je je kennis van industriële communicatie, besturingsarchitectuur en het praktisch toepassen van automatiseringstechniek. Wat ga je doen? - Functionele wensen vertalen naar een technisch ontwerp voor machine- en procesbesturing - PLC-software ontwikkelen, aanpassen en gestructureerd documenteren - HMI-schermen inrichten voor bediening, procesinformatie en storingsmeldingen - Signaaluitwisseling tussen PLC, sensoren, actuatoren en aandrijvingen testen - Softwarestoringen analyseren en verbeteringen aan de besturing doorvoeren - Inbedrijfstelling voorbereiden en technische afstemming verzorgen met betrokken disciplines Wat vragen we van jou? - Een technische opleiding in elektrotechniek, mechatronica of industriële automatisering, of vergelijkbare praktijkkennis - Ervaring met het programmeren en testen van PLC-besturingen - Kennis van een gangbare PLC-omgeving, zoals Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell of Beckhoff TwinCAT - Inzicht in HMI-toepassingen en industriële communicatie, bijvoorbeeld PROFINET of Modbus TCP - Elektrotechnische schema’s kunnen lezen en storingen systematisch kunnen onderzoeken - Technische keuzes helder kunnen toelichten en zorgvuldig samenwerken met andere disciplines Wat bie.
