Als Automation Engineer bij een technisch georiënteerde organisatie in de Botlek richt je je op de besturing van industriële installaties. Je vertaalt procesvragen naar betrouwbare automatiseringsoplossingen en houdt daarbij rekening met beschikbaarheid, veiligheid en onderhoudbaarheid. De kern van je vak ligt bij PLC-software, HMI-bediening en de koppeling tussen besturing en veldapparatuur. Je kijkt niet alleen naar de code, maar ook naar het gedrag van de installatie en de informatie die operators nodig hebben. In de dagelijkse praktijk combineer je programmeren met testen, analyseren en technisch overleg. Je stemt wijzigingen af met operators, onderhoudstechnici en collega-engineers, zodat software en installatie op elkaar aansluiten. Door storingen te onderzoeken en verbeteringen zorgvuldig te documenteren, verdiep je je kennis van procesbesturing, industriële communicatie en gestructureerde softwareontwikkeling. Wat ga je doen? - PLC-software ontwikkelen en aanpassen voor industriële besturingen - HMI-schermen en alarmmeldingen afstemmen op de bediening - Storingen analyseren in software, signalen en communicatie - Besturingswijzigingen testen en ondersteunen bij inbedrijfstelling - Functionele eisen afstemmen met operators en technische collega's - Softwarewijzigingen, testresultaten en technische keuzes documenteren Wat vragen we van jou? - Technische opleiding in elektrotechniek, industriële automatisering of mechatronica - Ervaring met PLC-programmering en het lezen van bestaande besturingssoftware - Kennis van HMI- of SCADA-systemen en industriële communicatieprotocollen - Inzicht in sensoren, actuatoren, aandrijvingen en elektrische schema's - Gestructureerde aanpak bij testen, foutzoeken en versiebeheer - Heldere communicatie en aandacht voor veilig werken aan installaties Wat bieden wij jou? - Bruto maandsalaris tussen € 3.800 en € 5.000 (indicatie op basis van functie en ervaring) - Technische verdieping in PLC-besturing, HMI en industriële communi.
