Als Automation Engineer in Vlissingen werk je bij een technisch georiënteerde organisatie aan de besturing van machines en industriële processen. Je vertaalt functionele vragen naar overzichtelijke PLC-software en een bedieningsinterface waarmee operators goed kunnen werken. Daarbij kijk je verder dan de code: ook sensoren, aandrijvingen, interlocks en de communicatie tussen besturingscomponenten spelen een rol. Je doel is een installatie die voorspelbaar reageert en praktisch te onderhouden is. In de dagelijkse praktijk combineer je programmeren met testen, analyseren en technisch afstemmen. Je bespreekt signalen en regelgedrag met collega's uit elektrotechniek en werkt met operators en onderhoudstechnici aan bruikbare oplossingen. Tijdens het testen onderzoek je storingen systematisch en leg je wijzigingen helder vast. Zo verdiep je je kennis van PLC-besturingen, HMI-visualisatie en industriële netwerken, terwijl je steeds beter leert hoe software en installatiegedrag elkaar beïnvloeden. Wat ga je doen? - Functionele eisen vertalen naar PLC-software en besturingslogica - HMI-schermen ontwikkelen voor bediening, statusinformatie en alarmmeldingen - I/O-signalen, interlocks en processequenties testen - Storingen in software en communicatie systematisch analyseren - Technische oplossingen afstemmen met elektrotechniek, operators en onderhoud - Softwarewijzigingen, testresultaten en besturingsfuncties documenteren Wat vragen we van jou? - Technische opleiding in elektrotechniek, mechatronica of industriële automatisering - Ervaring met PLC-programmering en het structureren van besturingssoftware - Kennis van een gangbaar PLC-platform, zoals Siemens TIA Portal of Beckhoff TwinCAT - Inzicht in HMI-visualisatie, sensoren, aandrijvingen en industriële communicatie - Elektrotechnische schema's kunnen lezen en gebruiken bij foutanalyse - Zorgvuldige werkwijze en heldere communicatie over technische keuzes Wat bieden wij jou? - Bruto maandsalaris tussen € 3.800 en € 5.000.
