Bij een internationaal technologie- en servicebedrijf in Assen ontwikkel je besturingsoplossingen voor equipment waarmee olie-, gas-, zout- en geothermische putten worden onderhouden, gerepareerd en afgesloten. Als Automation Engineer vertaal je operationele eisen naar betrouwbare automatisering, van systeemarchitectuur tot werkende PLC-, HMI- en SCADA-software. Je bent betrokken bij ontwerp, ontwikkeling, testen en inbedrijfstelling en draagt daarmee bij aan veilige, efficiënte operaties en toepassingen binnen de energietransitie. In je dagelijkse werk combineer je programmeren en systeemintegratie met het opstellen van functionele beschrijvingen, I/O-lijsten en testdocumentatie. Je stemt keuzes af met collega's uit verschillende technische disciplines, onderzoekt storingen en verbetert de prestaties van besturingssystemen. Daarbij krijg je ruimte om je verder te specialiseren in automatisering en digitalisering. Je bouwt niet alleen mee aan equipment dat wereldwijd wordt ingezet, maar ook aan producten, systemen en engineeringstandaarden. Functie-inhoud - Ontwerpen en verbeteren van besturingssystemen, control philosophies en automatiseringsarchitecturen - Programmeren, configureren en integreren van PLC-, HMI- en SCADA-systemen - Opstellen en onderhouden van functionele beschrijvingen, I/O-lijsten en technische documentatie - Uitvoeren van systeemtesten en validaties en ondersteunen bij commissioning - Analyseren en oplossen van storingen en prestatieproblemen in besturingssystemen - Doorvoeren van verbeteringen voor veiligheid, betrouwbaarheid en efficiëntie - Onderzoeken en toepassen van automatiserings- en digitaliseringstechnologieën binnen ontwikkelprojecten Functie-eisen - Afgeronde hbo-opleiding Industriële Automatisering, Elektrotechniek of een vergelijkbare technische richting - Ervaring met industriële besturingssystemen en aantoonbare kennis van PLC-, HMI- en SCADA-platformen - Ervaring met systeemintegratie, testen en commissioning - Kennis van aut.
