Als Automation Engineer in Assen werk je aan besturingstechniek voor industriële machines en processen. Je vakgebied ligt bij organisaties die productie automatiseren en installaties betrouwbaar willen laten draaien. Binnen die context vertaal je functionele wensen naar overzichtelijke besturingssoftware, bedieningsschermen en praktische oplossingen voor storingen. Je kijkt niet alleen naar de werking van de PLC, maar ook naar de samenhang met sensoren, aandrijvingen en veiligheidsfuncties. In de dagelijkse praktijk combineer je programmeren met testen, analyseren en technisch overleg. Je stemt wijzigingen af met elektrotechnische en werktuigbouwkundige collega's en houdt rekening met de mensen die de installatie bedienen en onderhouden. Door software gestructureerd op te bouwen en testresultaten vast te leggen, maak je systemen beter beheersbaar. Je verdiept je daarbij in PLC-programmering, HMI-ontwerp en industriële communicatie. Functie-inhoud - Functionele wensen vertalen naar besturingslogica voor machines en processen - PLC-software en HMI-schermen ontwikkelen, aanpassen en testen - Signaaluitwisseling tussen sensoren, aandrijvingen en besturing controleren - Storingen analyseren en structurele softwareverbeteringen doorvoeren - Inbedrijfstelling ondersteunen en de werking toetsen aan specificaties - Softwarewijzigingen, testresultaten en technische keuzes documenteren Functie-eisen - Technische opleiding in elektrotechniek, mechatronica of industriële automatisering - Praktische ervaring met PLC-programmering en het testen van besturingen - Kennis van een gangbaar platform, zoals Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell of Beckhoff - Inzicht in HMI-ontwerp en industriële communicatie, zoals Profinet of Modbus TCP - Vaardigheid in het lezen van elektrische schema's en het analyseren van storingen - Zorgvuldige werkwijze en heldere communicatie met technische collega's Aanbod - Bruto maandsalaris tussen € 3.800 en € 5.000 (indicatie op basis van functie en ervaring) - C.
