Als Automation Engineer bij een technische organisatie in Tiel richt je je op de besturing van industriële machines en processen. Je vertaalt functionele wensen naar overzichtelijke PLC-software, bedieningsschermen en betrouwbare besturingslogica. Daarbij kijk je niet alleen naar de werking van een installatie, maar ook naar veiligheid, onderhoudbaarheid en begrijpelijke bediening. Je combineert softwareontwikkeling met inzicht in elektrotechniek en het gedrag van machines op de werkvloer. In de dagelijkse praktijk werk je samen met engineers, monteurs en gebruikers om besturingen te testen, storingen te analyseren en verbeteringen door te voeren. Je bespreekt technische keuzes, legt wijzigingen vast en ondersteunt bij het in bedrijf stellen van installaties. Zo verdiep je je vakkennis in PLC-programmering, HMI, industriële communicatie en de samenhang tussen software en hardware. Wat ga je doen? - Functionele wensen vertalen naar besturingslogica en een technisch ontwerp - PLC-software en HMI-schermen ontwikkelen, testen en aanpassen - Signalen, I/O en communicatie tussen besturingscomponenten controleren - Storingen analyseren op het snijvlak van software en elektrotechniek - Inbedrijfstelling ondersteunen en de werking van installaties verifiëren - Softwarewijzigingen, testresultaten en technische keuzes documenteren Wat vragen we van jou? - Technische opleiding in elektrotechniek, mechatronica of industriële automatisering - Ervaring met PLC-programmering, bijvoorbeeld met Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell of Beckhoff - Inzicht in HMI-systemen en de bediening van industriële installaties - Basiskennis van industriële netwerken, zoals PROFINET, EtherNet/IP of Modbus TCP - Je leest elektrische schema’s en analyseert storingen gestructureerd - Je stemt technische keuzes helder af met collega’s en gebruikers Wat bieden wij jou? - Bruto maandsalaris tussen € 3.800 en € 5.000 (indicatie op basis van functie en ervaring) - Een combinatie van softwareontwikkeling en prakt.
