The posting

Je programmeert machines die effectief draaien. Niet gewoon code, maar resultaat.

Je brengt machines tot leven. Letterlijk.

Als automation engineer werk je aan de programmatie, opstart en optimalisatie van machines en productielijnen. Van eerste code tot werkende installatie bij de klant.

Je ontwikkelt PLC- en HMI-software en zorgt dat alles logisch, efficiënt en herbruikbaar blijft. Je werkt met systemen zoals TIA Portal en komt ook in aanraking met robotprogrammatie.

Je test machines in het atelier en begeleidt de opstart bij klanten. Dat kan lokaal zijn, maar ook internationaal. Ongeveer een derde van je tijd ben je onderweg.

Je configureert motorsturingen, veiligheidsfuncties en zorgt dat alles technisch klopt. Zie je iets dat beter kan? Dan pas je het aan.

Je documenteert je werk zodat collega’s en klanten verder kunnen. Geen chaos, maar structuur.

Daarnaast sta je ook in voor service en ondersteuning. Storingen oplossen, advies geven, systemen verbeteren.

Je werkt nauw samen met engineers en techniekers. Iedereen spreekt dezelfde taal: techniek die werkt.

Wat helpt om hier goed te zitten:

  • Master industriële wetenschappen of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Ervaring in machinebouw of automatisatie (idealiter 3 jaar)
  • Sterk in PLC (TIA Portal) en HMI
  • Basiskennis mechanica, hydraulica en pneumatiek
  • Kennis van robotprogrammatie (zoals KUKA) is een plus
  • Je denkt analytisch en lost problemen praktisch op
  • Je bent zelfstandig en flexibel
  • Je bent bereid om te reizen (ongeveer 35%)
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en kan je behelpen in Frans of Engels
  • Geen pure programmeur dus. Wel iemand die techniek begrijpt in de praktijk.
