The posting

Als Automation Engineer in Drachten richt je je op de besturing van machines en industriële processen. Binnen een technische organisatie verbind je software met elektrotechniek: je vertaalt functionele wensen naar overzichtelijke PLC-programma’s, bedienbare HMI-schermen en betrouwbare signalering. Je houdt daarbij rekening met veiligheid, onderhoudbaarheid en de manier waarop operators en monteurs dagelijks met een installatie werken. In de dagelijkse praktijk wissel je programmeren af met testen, storingsanalyse en technisch overleg. Je stemt interfaces af met collega’s uit elektrotechniek en werktuigbouw en bespreekt met gebruikers wat de besturing moet doen. Bij het testen kijk je niet alleen naar de normale werking, maar ook naar foutafhandeling en herstartgedrag. Zo verdiep je je kennis van PLC-software, industriële netwerken en het gestructureerd in bedrijf stellen van installaties. Functie-inhoud - Functionele wensen vertalen naar een besturingsontwerp en PLC-software - HMI-schermen ontwikkelen met duidelijke bediening en alarmmeldingen - Communicatie tussen PLC’s, aandrijvingen en veldapparatuur configureren en testen - Besturingssoftware testen op procesverloop, foutafhandeling en herstartgedrag - Storingen analyseren op het raakvlak van software en elektrotechniek - Softwarewijzigingen documenteren en afstemmen met technische collega’s Functie-eisen - Een technische opleiding in elektrotechniek, mechatronica of industriële automatisering - Ervaring met PLC-programmering, bijvoorbeeld met Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff of Rockwell - Kennis van HMI-systemen en de basisprincipes van SCADA - Inzicht in industriële communicatie, zoals PROFINET, EtherNet/IP of Modbus TCP - Vaardigheid in het lezen van elektrische schema’s en analyseren van storingen - Een gestructureerde werkwijze en heldere communicatie met collega’s en gebruikers Aanbod - Bruto maandsalaris tussen € 3.800 en € 5.000 (indicatie op basis van functie en ervaring) - Een technische rol waarin soft.
