Als Automation Engineer in Helmond richt je je op industriële automatisering binnen een technische organisatie. Je vertaalt de werking van machines en processen naar overzichtelijke besturingssoftware. Daarbij verbind je PLC-logica, HMI-bediening en signalen uit het veld tot een besturing die operators begrijpen en onderhoudstechnici kunnen doorgronden. Je kijkt niet alleen naar functionaliteit, maar ook naar storingsdiagnose, veiligheid en de onderhoudbaarheid van software. In de dagelijkse praktijk wissel je programmeren af met testen, analyseren en technisch overleg. Je stemt besturingskeuzes af met collega's uit elektrotechniek en werktuigbouw en bespreekt hoe de installatie zich tijdens bedrijf moet gedragen. Door software gestructureerd te testen en bevindingen vast te leggen, verbeter je de kwaliteit van de besturing. Tegelijk verdiep je je in PLC-platformen, industriële communicatie en herbruikbare softwarestructuren. Functie-inhoud - Functionele beschrijvingen vertalen naar PLC-software en bedieningslogica - HMI-schermen opzetten met duidelijke statusinformatie en storingsmeldingen - Sensoren, actuatoren en aandrijvingen integreren in de besturing - Software testen en afwijkingen in machinegedrag analyseren - Inbedrijfstelling ondersteunen en storingen systematisch onderzoeken - Softwarewijzigingen, testresultaten en technische keuzes documenteren Functie-eisen - Een technische opleiding in elektrotechniek, industriële automatisering of mechatronica - Ervaring met PLC-programmering, bijvoorbeeld in Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT of Rockwell Studio 5000 - Inzicht in HMI-bediening en gestructureerde softwareopbouw - Kennis van industriële communicatie, zoals PROFINET, EtherCAT of Modbus TCP - Elektrotechnische schema's kunnen lezen en signalen systematisch kunnen controleren - Zorgvuldige werkwijze en heldere communicatie met technische collega's Aanbod - Bruto maandsalaris tussen € 3.800 en € 5.000 (indicatie op basis van functie en ervaring) - Een..
