The posting

Bij een organisatie in de chemische procesindustrie in Hoek, Zeeland, werk je aan de automatisering van procesinstallaties. Je ontwikkelt regelstrategieën en implementeert automatiseringsoplossingen waarmee productieprocessen beter presteren. Daarbij vertaal je procesdata en verbetermogelijkheden naar concrete toepassingen in distributed control systems (DCS). Je bent betrokken bij het traject van analyse en programmering tot simulatie, inbedrijfstelling en het afregelen van regelkringen. In de dagelijkse praktijk werk je samen met automation engineers, procestechnologen en operators. Je onderzoekt verbeteringen, bewaakt projectmijlpalen en test besturingssoftware met simulaties die ook voor operatortraining worden gebruikt. Afhankelijk van de projectomvang pak je zelfstandig kleinere projecten op of draag je bij aan een groter internationaal projectteam. Je verdiept je verder in DCS-programmering, procesregeling en verbetermethodieken zoals Six Sigma. Voor projecten op andere locaties kan binnenlands en internationaal reizen onderdeel zijn van je werk. Functie-inhoud - Ontwikkelen van automatiserings- en regelstrategieën voor chemische procesinstallaties - Programmeren en implementeren van automatiseringstoepassingen in verschillende DCS-platformen - Bouwen van simulaties voor softwareverificatie en training van operators - Ondersteunen bij commissioning en opstarten, inclusief het afregelen van regelkringen - Analyseren van procesdata en onderzoeken van verbeterkansen met onder meer Six Sigma - Plannen en bewaken van projectmijlpalen, voortgang en afgesproken verbeterdoelen - Samenwerken in projectteams en bijdragen aan projecten op verschillende locaties Functie-eisen - Master in chemische technologie, elektrotechniek of IT, of gelijkwaardige ervaring in procesautomatisering of de chemische industrie - Brede technische basis in procesautomatisering; eerste werkervaring en productie-ervaring zijn een pré - Kennis van ABB Industrial IT DCS is een pré - Je commun.
